BLG Parekh Logistics India Pvt Ltd is a Joint Venture between BLG Automotive Logistics GmbH &
Co. KG and the Parekh Group of companies. Both companies are joining forces in automotive/
automobile logistics for their activities in India. The range of services includes amongst others
material planning, production supply, warehousing, reverse logistics, process design and optimization,
IT solutions and value added services.

For our future expansion we are looking for a
LOGISTICS ENGINEER
You will be directly reporting to the Branch Manager.
The Position:
- Develop, consolidate and innovate the specialist know-how, in order to guarantee support to the central and local organizations in the site, with the continuous technological innovation and improvement of the logistic processes
- Realize an excellent project, guarantee the availability and the correct application of the standards
- Define work and transport methods
- Define work force requirements
- Analyse costs in relation to layout of the production engineering and the work method
- Maintain the activities that regard small variations/ requests
- Activities that concern the standardization of the method
- Guarantee the monitoring of all activities concerning the start up of new models
- Activate the actions needed for the start up of new models
- Elaborate and regulate with operational procedures the activities of the logistic process
- Develop benchmarking analysis with respect to other internal or external BLG realities
- Research of continuous improvements by using new methods (World Class Manufacturing), and developing models and innovating ideas
- Support with its own resources all operational functions regarding the start up of new projects
- Spread the new logistic tendencies by strengthening BLG Parekh Logistics’s image
- Graduate in Business Administration / Industrial Engineering/ Logistics
- At least 5 years of relevant international job experience in BLG key market sectors, especially automotive (OEM, First Tier)
- Line management experience
- Experience in latest automotive logistics standards (World Class Manufacturing)
- Commercial awareness / Financial acumen / negotiation skills
- Core operations skills (warehousing, planning, transport, IT, line management
- Hands on Manager
- Fluency in Hindi (preferable native speaker) and English, German is an advantage
- Strong communication and motivation skills
- Location: greater Mumbai / Pune region
- Mobility in India and Asia
